I'm making good progress on the silk wrap and I'm really happy with how it's turning out. Although, I do have to admit that while I'm at the loom weaving this wrap, all I can think of is the next project.
So, what am I thinking about? A while back I wove some cotton fabric for dish towels. I haven't had a chance to finish the cloth or sew the towels, but the next set of dish towels is all I can think about.
What color cotton or linen will I use for the project? What pattern will I use?
Then my mind drifts back to what I'm weaving. I remind myself to take it one project at a time. Finish weaving the wrap. Then finish the cotton cloth and actually pull out the sewing machine and sew the dish towels. Yes, that's what I'll do.
And then my mind wanders to what I will be knitting next. I'm thinking Irish Girlie's infinity scarf, Fiar or maybe a hat like Wurm which looked super cute on the Yarn Harlot when she tweeted a photo the other day.
Surely I can't be the only one with this problem.

Once we envision a project in our head, then it's almost as if it's already completed. We just need to do the hard work of 'making'. In the meantime, we envision our next project. Like a cycle?
