See that up there? Looks like plain ole bread, but not. It's THE most amazing bread I--we, since hubby thought so too--have had. I never thought bread could get any better than Acme. We had no shame. We asked to take the leftover two slices home. (Made bruschetta with heirloom tomatoes the next day.)
Yes, sea urchin is an acquired taste. It took a couple of tries for me, but now I can fully appreciate all those ocean flavors that explode in the mouth.
We didn't have room for dessert. Maybe because we started off at Bi-Rite. :)
