The name of the pattern, Traveling Woman, was so appropriate since I knit most of this one-skein shawl on a long seven-hour coast to coast flight. 
Yarn: The Plucky Knitter, merino/cashmere/nylon fingering in colorway Tracy Lord HavenModifications: added extra repeat of Chart A, total of three repeats

I saw a friend the other day, walking her kids to school with a red shawl. It was stunning! So unexpected on a dreary school morning.
A 7 hour flight!? Eeh gads. I don't know if I would have been able to accomplish so much. Most of my time on airplanes is spent clinging to the person next to me or white-knuckling my arm rests.
