The Traveler

The name of the pattern, Traveling Woman, was so appropriate since I knit most of this one-skein shawl on a long seven-hour coast to coast flight.

Yarn: The Plucky Knitter, merino/cashmere/nylon fingering in colorway Tracy Lord Haven
Modifications: added extra repeat of Chart A, total of three repeats

Love it! Just trying to decide what yarn to use to cast one on!

I saw a friend the other day, walking her kids to school with a red shawl. It was stunning! So unexpected on a dreary school morning.

A 7 hour flight!? Eeh gads. I don't know if I would have been able to accomplish so much. Most of my time on airplanes is spent clinging to the person next to me or white-knuckling my arm rests.

I'm off to check this beautiful thing out on Ravelry.

And so appropriate since I can't keep up with all your traveling! Loving all your pictures and I love that shawl! Love your Shawl that Jazz, too. Keep thinking the ruffles are just not 'me', but everytime I see one knit up I kinda want one!
