brekkie en La Boqueria

I was lucky enough to play business travel companion again and I'm back in Barcelona. Brekkie at Mercat de la Boqueria included tortilla patatas,

bocadillo con huevos y chorizo,

and of course, Coca Cola light (that's for IGK).

Afterwards, a nice long walk to the beach. (I figure to and from the beach is at least 2 points towards the smackdown.)

A stop along the way for a cerveza and some knitting on my newly cast on project, a ribby cowl (3x1 rib) done in Plucky cashmere 2-ply, colorway Tutu (love that name).

Oh, I LOVE Barcelona! DH & I went to mass in the crypt of the Sagrada Familia. It was all in Spanish, but that didn't matter - mass is mass is mass, right.

Except the Fr said "Peace be with you" in English. Well for half a second there, I thought I was experiencing a translation miracle!!! Doh!

So glad you're having fun - I'm living through your adventures, so keep the photos coming :) And the Brekkie! mmmm brings back memories of my stay there. Of course the 'no ice' in the Coke Light was torture, but everything else is awesome. DiviƩrtase!
